How to install SmartOptimizer on Drupal

Since there were many requests on how to install SmartOptimizer on Drupal, I decided to write this how-to here.
Just follow these simple steps:
- Place smartoptimizer folder inside the folder that your drupal is installed.
- "smartoptimizer/cache" folder should be writable (in most cases 777 permission is needed).
- Copy content of SmartOptimizer htaccess file and paste it inside Drupal htaccess before drupal rewrite rules. (click here to see Drupal 6.2 htaccess file after modification)
- It's ready. Enjoy it.
Using YSlow my website performance grade before installing SmartOptimizer was D(66) and now after installing SmartOptimizer is C(79).

Cached Google pages: SmartOptimizer Error
Is there a way to use SmartOptimizer and have Google's cached version of my pages display properly? I'm using Drupal 6.2 on my site.
All my indexed pages on Google - viewing their "cached version" of the page results in a
SmartOptimizer Error: File not found (../sites/default/files/js/....js)RE: Cached Google pages: SmartOptimizer Error

If the problem persists, I'll definitely invite you to check it out. My site is still in somewhat heavy development, so I'm wondering if the frequent changes to my CSS are to blame. I'm also occasionally clearing my cache (performance).

For some reason my components are gzipped when i'm not logged in but when i am logged in its not gzip. Does anyone know the culprit?

Hi, my site is always changing js and css, it's a personal drupal theme showcase. I wanted to ask before trying this script about the line in your htaccess file, that says ExpiresDefault "access plus 10 years". Wouldn't that too long a time? Any suggestion or explanation is very much appreciated. Thanks

سلام ، من تازه کار با دروپال رو شروع کرده ام ، می خواستم بدوننم چطوری میشه به بخش کامنت دروپال 6 فیلد هایی مثل نام وب سایت و ایمیل رو اضافه کرد ، توی وب سایت پشتیبان کسی جواب نداد. اگه میشه لطفا مراحل رو توضیح بدهید.
